Mizusu is operated by SUZZU, LLC dba Mizusu (“Mizusu”, “we”, “us”), with a company mailing address in Jersey City, New Jersey. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it — on this website and in the Mizusu texting service.
What we collect
On this website: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address and pages requested) to run and secure the site. We store a necessary shopping-bag cookie so you can return to your bag. It expires after 30 days unless renewed by a bag change. You can remove it in your browser settings; doing so disconnects your browser from that bag.
In the Mizusu texting service (when you text our number or message us on a connected messaging platform):
- your phone number or messaging handle;
- the messages you send us — including anything you choose to share about your pet — and our replies;
- message metadata (timestamps, delivery status);
- your consent and opt-out records.
When you shop: Shopify processes the products and quantities in your bag and the information you provide at checkout, including contact, shipping, billing and payment details. We receive the order information needed to fulfill purchases, handle returns and provide support. Your IP address may be sent to Shopify to secure checkout and prevent abuse. Card details are handled by Shopify and its payment providers; our website does not collect card numbers directly.
How we use it
- to provide the service: answering the messages you send us and keeping the pet journal you ask us to keep;
- to process payments, fulfill orders, handle returns and prevent fraud;
- to provide customer support;
- to keep records the law requires (such as consent records).
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not being shared with any third parties.
Service providers
We use service providers to run Mizusu, each only to do their job for us: Shopify (commerce and checkout), our website hosting provider, Twilio (message delivery), Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), and AI service providers that process message content so we can generate replies. They are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
Shopify also handles personal information under its own privacy policy when it provides services to shoppers. See Shopify consumer privacy. Cookie and privacy choices for Shopify checkout are available there. Contact us about access, correction or deletion of your order information.
Some website orders are packed and shipped by Fulfilled by TikTok, TikTok Shop's fulfillment service. For those orders, TikTok receives the items ordered and the shipping name, address and phone number, and handles them under its own privacy policy.
Optional TikTok videos
Product videos use TikTok's embedded player. When a video section comes into view, players load for the videos on screen: one plays, muted, and the others show TikTok's preview until you press play. Otherwise a player loads when you choose to play its video. If your browser asks sites to reduce motion or data use, or sends a Global Privacy Control signal, a player loads only when you choose to play its video. TikTok then receives technical information such as your IP address and browser information and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. Closing the videos keeps them closed while you browse that page.
Texting: opt-out and help
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while you use the service. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — text us, or email support@mizusu.com — and we will delete it, except records we must keep by law.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
